Wisconsin Badgers Tickets
The Wisconsin Badgers are a football program that represents University of Wisconsin-Madison in NCAA Division I-A and the Big Ten Conference, and the university had an all-time winning percentage of 53% with a win/loss/tie record of 575-451-53. Their uniform colors are cardinal and white, the mascot is Bucky Badger and their athletic director is Barry Alvarez.
The team play their home games at the 80,321 capacity Camp Randall Stadium, built in 1917, and is currently coached by Bret Bielema. Since the early 1990s Wisconsin's football program has been among the most successful in the Big Ten, when Barry Alvarez was hired as the head coach, and they won 3 Rose Bowls and 3 Big Ten Championships. In the 2005 season the Badgers beat the Auburn Tigers in the Capital One Bowl, and the next year Bret Bielema took over as head coach and posted a 12-1 record, defeating Arkansas in the Capital One Bowl 17-14. They are 10-9 in bowl games, and this is their 12th bowl appearance in the past 14 seasons. The football program boasts two Heisman Trophy winners, Alan Ameche who won the Heisman in 1954, and Ron Dayne who won the trophy in 1999. Also Dayne now plays for the NFL's Houston Texans.
