Steve Spurrier, born on April 20th, 1945 in Miami Beach, Florida is the current head coach of the South Carolina Gamecocks football team. On November 23rd, 2004, Steve Spurrier was assigned as the head coach of the Gamecocks after the outgoing coach Lou Holtz, hinted at the evident fact that Spurrier was his successor. He reached the landmark of 150-college football wins, after leading the Gamecocks to a win over the Mississippi State Bulldogs by a margin of 15-0.
Williams Brice Stadium is the home to the South Carolina Gamecocks and is located in Columbia, South Carolina. The Williams Brice Stadium also hosts many concerts, state high school football championships, and various other events. It is the 18th largest college football stadium in the NCAA and 7th largest stadium among all other stadiums of the Southeastern Conference. It has a seating capacity for 80,250 fans
