Tostitos Fiesta Bowl Tickets
Since its inaugural game in 1971, the Fiesta Bowl has always been a favorite of college football fans. The game’s popularity really began to grow in the late 1980's, and eventually was made a part of the BCS’ series of bowl games. Held at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, the Fiesta Bowl is now the traditional host of the Big 12 Conference Champions as they oppose a chosen at-large BCS team. Sponsored by Tostitos, the contest is officially called the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl and has been the site of previous BCS Championship games in 1999 and 2003.
The Bowl Championship Series (BCS) is a five-game series of college football bowl games, created with the intention of matching the #1 and #2 ranked teams in a game to determine the National Championship, while providing four other exciting games amongst eight of the other most highly ranked teams in college football that season. The five BCS bowl games are the Fiesta Bowl, the Orange Bowl, the Rose Bowl, the Sugar Bowl, and the BCS National Championship Game which is alternated among the different BCS bowl sites each year.
Previously held at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, the 2007 Fiesta Bowl game was moved to the new University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, and has remained there to this date. Additionally in 2007, the BCS agreement stipulated that the Fiesta Bowl was to host the Big 12 Conference champions against a highly ranked at-large school, unless the Big 12 Champs were already involved in the BCS National Championship game.

As a result of the underdog Broncos team being in the game, the use of numerous trick plays, multiple comebacks by each team, and the thrilling overtime finish, the 2007 Fiesta Bowl has been called one of the greatest college football games ever played!
In the Fiesta’s second year at the new University of Phoenix Stadium, on January 2, 2008, the contest saw the Big 12 Champion #3 Oklahoma Sooners against the Big East Champion #9 West Virginia Mountaineers. Unfortunately for the Sooners, West Virginia pulled off an upset for the second consecutive year by beating Oklahoma 48–28.
The 2009 Fiesta Bowl provided yet another year of fireworks on January 5, when the Texas Longhorns outlasted the Ohio State Buckeyes 24–21, in an exciting victory which went down to the wire.
