Ding dong, the BCS is dead. The FBS has long been awaiting some sort of a playoff system at the championship level and now it has a four-team playoff in its arsenal to determine the ultimate team in any year. There are still plenty of bowl games and these bowl games will be included in the playoff, as well as the rest of the postseason. College football tickets are about more than these games though. Every major college campus in the country is drawing thousands of student fans and alumni to fill the stadium to capacity. Even if the season is lost, college football is able to bring in throngs who attend to enjoy the exploits of being the spoiler or simply celebrating school spirit.
