10 Mile Crossing started playing at the college bar Anyplace. The bassist use to listen to record constantly as a teenager. The bassistdiscovered his love of music by listening to his family's music collection. 10 Mile Crossing’s members grew up together. The group used to practice at the guitarist's basement.
After paying their dues and opening shows for years, 10 Mile Crossing was signed to a record deal. All the members quit their other jobs to focus on their album.
10 Mile Crossing knew that they were real working musicians when the group’s first fan club was started by Brenda Fraiser in 1989. The club started out small, with just a handful of members around Dallas. After the band’s first national tour the club grew dramatically, reaching a membership in the thousands.
10 Mile Crossing's newest project is the group's first album in seven years. The group has just completed their newest project, and they are thinking of what is next to come. 10 Mile Crossing intends to spend some time apart after the tour, allowing the band members to pursue other projects.
