The members of 13th Borne met in 1985. The drummer wanted to start a band since he was in middle school. 13th Borne began singing at Accountant, a local bar. The group used to sell their tapes out of their car at the local record store.

13th Borne was discovered while joking around, performing on the street one day. The group members quit their other jobs to focus on their album. 13th Borne were uneasy after releasing the first release, but were happy when they heard their music on the radio for the first time. The group is on the road all the time now promoting their album before sold out clubs.

13th Borne accepted that they had a real chance to become a headlining national act after the band’s first fan club was started in 1995 by Carol Parquette. The fan club received a huge boost after Amanda Casas designed a website for the band. That coupled with the tour country wide saw the fan club’s official membership reach numbers in the thousands.

13th Borne's new album is the group's first album in seven years. The band may have recently finished their newest project, but they are plotting their next move already. After this last busy year the members of 13th Borne will take a break to rest after a long tour.
