The members of 1964 The Tribute were friends in middle school. The group used to sell their records out of their van on campus. 1964 The Tribute began performing at Flaw, a local dive bar. The guitarist was encouraged to play by his grade school teacher.
1964 The Tribute’s first album was a dud, but the second finally got some attention. The group plays plenty of arenas, but would rather perform in the smaller clubs in which they began. After paying their dues and opening shows for years, 1964 The Tribute was signed to a record deal. The groupwas headlining shows soon after they started playing live.
For right now, 1964 The Tribute are happy all their old hits. The band has not put out an album in years, but may work one this next summer. Time has not stopped 1964 The Tribute and the group continues to sing before audiences every summer.
