3 Doors Down Tickets
3 Doors Down
3 Doors Down has been rocking since 1994. The group started out as a three-man unit with Brad Arnold drumming and singing, Matt Roberts playing guitar, and Todd Harrell on bass. In 2000 their song “Kryptonite” got the attention of Universal Records and earned them a record deal. Since then, the group has grown. Brad Arnold moved over to lead vocalist, Greg Upchurch took over on drums, and Chris Henderson adds another guitarist to the group.
The band’s first album, The Better Life was released in 2000 and became a hit, being certified platinum six times and reaching number seven on the charts. The album also included the hit singles “Loser and Duck and Run”. 3 Doors Down followed the debut hit with another big seller, Away from the Sun, in 2002. The album featured the hug singles “Here Without You” and “When I’m Gone”. In 2005 the group had another success with Seventeen Days. The album has recently been certified platinum and gave fans “Let Me Go” and “Behind Those Eyes”.
3 Doors Down took advantage of their new found success and started their own charity, The Better Life Foundation, playing a benefit concert through the organization in 2003. They hold a “3 Doors Down and Friends” benefit concert every year. In 2006, after Hurricane Katrina laid waste to the Gulf Coast, including towns in their home state of Mississippi, the group played a benefit concert at the Mobile Convention Center on December 2.
