3 Minute Hero met with a local DJ from Q101.1 and convinced him to play their single on air. The single immediately became a local hit and larger radio stations started playing the song. Eventually a record executive heard it and signed the group. The group group played festivals, parties, bars, really just about anywhere that would take them. 3 Minute Hero first garnered some national attention with their first single.
