The members of 3 met in 1978. The group used to practice at the guitarist's house. 3 started playing at Vacation, a college club. The drummer was influenced by his family's love of music.

The band recently finished their latest album, but they are already thinking of their next move. 3 hope to team up with other artists while on this tour.

3 met with a local DJ from Z95.9 and convinced him to play their single on air. The single immediately became a local hit and larger radio stations started playing the song. Eventually a record executive heard it and signed the group. The group continues to play large venues, but still enjoys performing in smaller clubs on occasion.

3 finally knew they made it after the band’s first fan club was started in 1990 by Betty Yavorsky. Starting out in Denver with a few dozen members, the club grew fast, eclipsing a couple thousand across the world in under a year.
