A Change Of Pace’s members met in 1990. The drummer used to listen to his aunt's record constantly as a child. A Change Of Pace started singing at Cafeteria, a college dive bar. Ozzy Osborne heavily influenced the early work of the group.
A Change Of Pace was discovered while playing at at Diva, a local club. The groupplayed anywhere that would have them in the beginning. After the single hit the airwaves and blew up, A Change Of Pace were still afraid they’d be a one hit wonder.
A Change Of Pace realized that the possibility of living life as actual musicians was a distinct possibility in 1991, when the group's first fan club was started by Pamela Slatter. Starting out in Springfield with a few dozen members, the club grew fast, eclipsing a couple thousand across the country in under a year.
A Change Of Pace's most current release is the band's ninth project. The group recently completed their newest album, and they are plotting their next move already. A Change Of Pace's members hope this next tour brings in more fans than ever.
