got B99.5 to start playing their single and had their friends call in to request the song. A record executive heard it one day and immediately signed the band. The band plays plenty of arenas, but would rather perform in the smaller clubs in which they started.
A Night of Salsa accepted the fact that their dream of making a life as musicians had come true in 1990, after Debra Noonan started the band’s first fan club. After the band’s first North American tour, the fan club grew from the couple dozen fans who heard the band play around Cincinnati to the thousands who heard them play all across the country.
A Night of Salsa's latest record took four months to record. The group is in the beginning of the accompanying tour for their newest release. A Night of Salsa plans to take a break after this next tour, allowing the group members to work on side projects.
Generally, critics will praise A Night of Salsa for their ability to energize the audience when they perform live. A music critic from San Diego, Kirk Prather, has always pointed out group’s tremendous sound.
