AC/DC’s members grew up together. The guitarist first found his love of music by listening to his sibling's collection of records. The bassist used to annoy his brother by playing his favorite music too loud. AC/DC began singing at Anyplace, a local bar. The band used to sell their CDs out of their truck at school.

The group may have recently finished their most current release, but they are plotting their next move already. AC/DC's members hope to team up with other artists during the tour.

AC/DC’s first album failed to sell, but the second album saved them from obscurity. The group is so popular they fan clubs in every city. AC/DC was offered a record contract after putting on a show at at Occlusion, a local dive bar. All the members quit their day jobs to focus on their music.

AC/DC accepted that the possibility of living life as actual musicians was a real possibility in 1987, when the band's first fan club was started by Kathleen Vanderhoff. The fan club grew quickly from a few dozen members in a few cities to a few thousand nation wide.
