B Real began performing at summer festivals. One of the band's members used to listen to the radio constantly as a kid. B Real began playing together while they were in high school. The group used to sell their CDs out of their car at local shows.

After paying their dues and opening shows for years, B Real was signed to a record deal. The group members quit their other jobs to focus on their record.
