Bachman Cummings began singing at the college dive bar Ideal. The bassist used to annoy his aunt by playing his favorite record nonstop. The lead singer used to fall asleep with a CDplaying as a kid. The members of Bachman Cummings met in 1989. The band asked the local radio station to play their song.

Bachman Cummings’s first album was a dud, but the second finally got some attention. The group is mobbed by fans at every show. Bachman Cummings was discovered while joking around, performing on the street one day. All the members quit their other jobs to focus on their record.
