The members of Bad Apples met in 1994. The bassist was encouraged to play by his family. Bad Apples started playing at Chum, a local dive bar. The group used to sell their tapes out of their truck at the local record store.

Bad Apples's newest album has been heavily influenced by Johnny Cash. The band recently completed their newest release, and they are thinking of what is to come next. Bad Apples's members hope this tour and the new release attracts a whole new group of fans.
