Bad Company started singing at Crook, a local club. The drummer was encouraged to play by his high school teacher. The bassistdiscovered his love of music by listening to his father's record collection. Bad Company’s members met in 1989. The Beach Boys heavily influenced the early work of the band.
Bad Company's members hope this next tour brings in more fans than ever. The group recently completed their latest record, and they are plotting their next move already. Bad Company's newest project is the group's first since the band members went to work on independent projects eight years ago.
A member of Bad Company started dating a girl whose grandfatherwas a record executive. She passed the single on to them and the band signed a record deal soon after. The group plays plenty of arenas, but would rather perform in the smaller venues in which they started.
Bad Company knew they made it as soon as the band’s first fan club was started by Deb Urich in 2000. The fan club quickly grew from a few dozen in Austin to a few thousand nation wide.
