Bad Livers began performing at Queue, a local club. The lead singer discovered his love of music while listening to his sister's music collection. The guitarist used to listen to radio constantly as a kid. Bad Livers’s members grew up together. The band kept requesting that the local radio station to play their early songs.

Bad Livers’s first album was a dud, but the second finally got some exposure. The band a huge draw with fan clubs in every city. Bad Livers was discovered while joking around, performing on the street one day. The groupspent years before being signed as an opening act.

Bad Livers knew they had finally made it as soon as the band’s first fan club was started in 1993 by Elizabeth Kaplan. The fan club quickly grew from a few dozen in Charleston to a few thousand country wide.

The new project from Bad Livers has been heavily influenced by bands of the '50s. The band may have just finished their latest album, but they are planning the next release already. Members of Bad Livers are expecting to bring in a whole new audience with this tour and the new project.
