The members of Ben Becker met in high school. The group used to sell their CDs out of their truck at the local record store. Ben Becker started playing at the college club Anyplace. The drummer discovered his love of music while listening to his uncle's collection of records.
The new project from Ben Becker has been heavily influenced by The Rolling Stones. The band just finished their new release, and they are already planning their next move. Ben Becker plans to spend some time apart after this next tour, allowing the band members to rest after a long year.

Ben Becker accepted that they could really have a career in music after Deb Dunn started the first fan club for the group in 1976. The fan club grew from a few dozen to a few thousand after Betty Nicodemus created a website for the band and a national tour gave the band plenty of exposure.
Ben Becker is able to please the audience every performance by playing past hits and songs from their new project.
