The members of B.g. met in 1983. The lead singer used to fall asleep with a recordplaying as a kid. B.g. began performing at Dormitory, a local bar. The band was influenced by Buddy Holly.

B.g. was discovered while joking around, performing on the street one day. After getting the record deal, B.g. were sure they would make it.
