Boyzone’s members met in 1993. The drummer use to listen to musics constantly as a child. The lead singer was encouraged to play by his family. Boyzone began performing at Anyplace, a local dive bar. The band used to sell their tapes out of their truck at school.

Boyzone's newest album is the band's first since the group members went to work on independent projects four years ago. The band recently finished their new release, and they are thinking of what is next to come. Boyzone hope to team up with other artists while they are on tour.

Boyzone were uneasy after releasing the debut release, but were happy when they heard their music on the radio for the first time. The band plays almost every night of the week as the they tour England.

Boyzone knew they made it after the band’s first fan club was started in 1987 by Kathleen Wolbert. After the group’s first North American tour, the fan club grew from the couple dozen fans who heard the band play around Pittsburgh to the thousands who heard them play nation wide.
