Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn are well known as the immensely successful country duo Brooks and Dunn now, but back in the 1980s they were two artists in their early 20s trying to make it as country singer/songwriters. The two met and began performing together thanks to Tom Dubois of Arista Records.

Brooks and Dunn have had a long storied career together, recording 10 studio albums together and winning countless awards. That time is coming to an end however, as Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn have announced that this tour, The Last Rodeo Tour, will be their last together.

The next album, Hard Workin’ Man, reached the top of the Canadian Country charts and number two on the U.S. Country charts. It also went multi-platinum in the U.S. and Canada. The group began its history as a favorite at various country music awards.
