Buckethead began playing together while they were in grade school. The lead singer used to listen to radio constantly as a kid. The drummer use to listen to records constantly as a child. Buckethead started singing at Contract, a college dive bar. The band was influenced by Kiss.

Buckethead was offered a record contract after performing at at City, a local dive bar. The bandplayed anywhere that would have them in the beginning. Buckethead’s single rose quickly in the charts giving then the national recognition they always wanted.

Buckethead intends to take a break after the tour, allowing the group members to rest after a long year. The band recently completed their most current release, but they are already thinking of their next move.

Generally, critics will praise Buckethead for their ability to rile up the audience during live shows. Malcom Yavorsky, a music critic from Cincinnati, has always been a fan of band’s great drummer. Buckethead’s newest album is receiving terrific reviews from Tom Anderson, a music critic out of Albany, and Gerald Bierlein, from Portland.

Buckethead appreciates that they are able to do what they love because of the fans, so they play the hits off their latest release as well as the classics.
