Bucky Covington’s members met in high school. The band used to sell their records out of their van at local shows. Bucky Covington started performing at the college club Beach. The guitarist discovered his love of music while listening to his brother's collection of records.

Bucky Covington were happy to get the record deal, but were not sure how far they would go. The release of their first release convinced them that they were right where they should be after their songs began to get lots of radio play.

Bucky Covington knew that their dream of making an actual life for themselves as musicians had come true after the band’s first fan club was started by Liz Menchen in 1977. The fan club grew from a few dozen to a few thousand after Amanda Prather created a website for the group and a national tour gave the group plenty of exposure.

Bucky Covington's members are expecting to bring in another group of fans with this tour and the new release. The band may have recently finished their most current album, but they are plotting their next move already.
