Cabiria’s members met in high school. The lead singer first found his love of music by listening to his mom's music collection. Cabiria started performing at Entrails, a college bar. The band was influenced by Kiss.
Cabiria’s first album did not do so well, but the second album was a hit, going platinum. Cabiria was discovered while putting on a show at at Residence, a local club.
Cabiria accepted they had finally made it in 1996, as soon as the band's first fan club was started by Amy Jenson. The fan club grew quickly from a few dozen members in a few cities to a few thousand country wide.
Cabiria's members are expecting to bring in a whole new group of fans with this tour and the newest release. The group is in the start of the tour promoting for their latest album. Cabiria's latest project has been heavily influenced by bands of the '70s.
Critics have generally commended Cabiria for their ability to rile up the audience at live performances.
