Cage The Elephant’s members met in 1975. The group used to practice at the guitarist's garage. Cage The Elephant started playing at the local dive bar Patchwork. The bassist first found his love of music by listening to his father's record collection.
Cage The Elephant was discovered after their single was heard on Q89.1. The group played for years atcollege parties making almost no money. Cage The Elephant’s first album was a dud, but the second finally got some exposure.
The band recently completed their newest album, but they are plotting their next move already. Members of Cage The Elephant hope to collaborate with other artists while they are on this tour.
Generally, critics will praise Cage The Elephant for their ability to rile up the audience during concerts.
