Calla started singing at the local bar Cafeteria. The drummer wanted to start a band since he was in high school. The bassist was encouraged to play by his sibling. Calla’s members grew up together. The group used to practice at the lead singer's basement.

Calla signed the record deal, and fully expected that they would last past the first album. Calla was discovered after their single was heard on K94.1.

The band has just completed their new project, and they are thinking of what is next to come. Calla are expecting to bring in another group of fans with this tour and the most current project.
