Camera Tickets
Camera started performing at college bars. The lead singer used to fall asleep with the radioplaying as a kid. The bassist used to fall asleep with a tapeplaying as a teenager. The members of Camera met in 1981. The band had their friends call into the local radio station to play their songs.
Camera are expecting to bring in a whole new audience with this tour and the newest project. The group recently finished their newest record, but they are already plotting the next move. Camera's most current record is the band's first record since the band broke up three years ago.
Often times critics will praise Camera for their ability to rile up the audience at live shows. A music critic from Springfield, Reggie Leffelman, has always praised band’s tremendous front man. Camera’s newest record is receiving generally positive reviews from all the critics, including Alan Molitor from San Antonio and Patrick Storjohann from Los Angeles.
Camera met with a local DJ from Q101.5 and convinced him to play their single on air. The single immediately became a local hit and larger radio stations started playing the song. Eventually a record executive heard it and signed the group. Camera’s single rose quickly in the charts giving then the national recognition they always wanted.
Camera knew that they had a real chance to become a headlining national act when the group’s first fan club was started in 1990 by Lisa Storjohann. The club started out small, with just a handful of members around Kansas City. After the band’s first national tour the club grew dramatically, reaching a membership in the thousands.
San Francisco has always been a haven for the group, so they are sure to schedule a performance there every time they tour. Camera appreciates that they are able to do what they love because of the fans, so they play the hits off their newest release as well as the classics. TheSeats.com’s extensive website has everything from concert seating charts to tour schedules, making TheSeats.com the single best one-stop shop for Camera tickets.
