Celtic Woman Tickets
The members of Celtic Woman met in 1977. One of the group's members used to annoy his grandfather by playing his favorite album at all hours of the night. Celtic Woman started singing at the college club Exodus. The band used to sell their CDs out of their car at local shows.
Celtic Woman were happy to get the record deal, but were not sure how far they would go. The release of their first single convinced them that they were right where they should be after their songs began to get lots of radio play. The band plays plenty of arenas, but would rather perform in the smaller bars in which they began. Celtic Woman talked to a program director from K98.5 and got their single on air. The girlfriend of a record executive heard the song and soon after Celtic Woman was signed. The group regularly played at Chum before making it to the big time.
Celtic Woman intends to spend some time apart after this next tour, allowing the group members to pursue individual projects. The band has just finished their most current project, and they are already planning the next release. The latest record from Celtic Woman has been heavily influenced by bands of the '50s.
