Chanticleer started performing at Hobo, a local club. The drummer of the band learned to love reggae after listening to his grandfather's record collection. Chanticleer's members met after they had all spent years playing with other groups. The group's jam sessions would drive the lead singer's parents from the house and drive the neighbors crazy, but the group got better and the neighborhood did not mind so much.

Chanticleer intends to take some time off after the tour, allowing the group members to rest after a long tour. The group may have recently finished their newest project, but they are already planning the next release.
