The members of C.o.g. met in 1994. The guitarist wanted to start a group since he was in high school. C.o.g. began playing at the local bar Hypocrite. The band used to sell their CDs out of their van on the street.

After getting the record deal, C.o.g. were sure they would make it. The band is on tour constantly, performing before sold out venues nightly. C.o.g. was discovered while playing at at Beach, a local dive bar. All the members quit their day jobs to focus on their music.

C.o.g.'s new album is the band's seventh record. The band may have recently finished their new record, but they are planning the next release already. C.o.g.'s members hope this next tour brings in more fans than ever.

Generally, critics praise C.o.g. for their ability to rile up the audience during live performances. A music critic from Biloxi, Billy Hilgendorf, has always commented on band’s great lyrics. C.o.g.’s latest album has received terrific praise from all the critics, including Warren Oswalt, who first saw the band play in Baltimore.

Atlanta has always been receptive to the band, even when they were small time, so the group schedules a show there every year, even if they are not touring. C.o.g. seamlessly blends the songs from the older project with tracks from their new record. TheSeats.com has all the tour information a fan needs in one place, including C.o.g. tickets, concert seating charts, and complete tour schedules.
