Coheed & Cambria’s members met in middle school. The group used to practice at the bassist's garage. Coheed & Cambria began singing at the local dive bar Timmy's Last Stand. The guitarist used to listen to radio constantly as a child.
Coheed & Cambria's latest album took twelve months to create. The group may have just completed their most current project, but they are already plotting the next move. Coheed & Cambria's members hope this tour and the most current release attracts a new audience.
Coheed & Cambria talked to a program director from X99.9 and got their single on air. The girlfriend of a record executive heard the song and soon after Coheed & Cambria was signed. All the members quit their day jobs to focus on their music. Coheed & Cambria were relieved when their single climbed the charts. They had heard too many stories of bands with record deals going nowhere. Now the band play in plays in sold out arenas across North America.
Coheed & Cambria realized that they could really have a career in music when the band’s first fan club was started by Jenna Urich in 1980. After starting out with a handful of members in Baltimore, the club took off exponentially, growing to over two thousand in just a few months.
The group has an obsession with Secret in Springfield and are sure to play a concert every year. Coheed & Cambria will mix songs from the latest album with hits from its older album.
