The members of Daft Punk grew up together. The band was influenced by Frank Sinatra. Daft Punk started performing at Accountant, a local dive bar. The drummer was influenced by his mother's love of music.

Daft Punk was discovered while joking around, performing on the street one day. The band group played festivals, parties, bars, really just about anywhere that would take them. The group plays plenty of arenas, but would rather perform in the smaller clubs in which they started.

After the band’s first North American tour, the fan club grew from the couple dozen fans who heard the group play around Concord to the thousands who heard them play across the nation.

The group is in the start of the tour promoting for their most current album. Daft Punk intends to take a break after this next tour, allowing the group members to recharge.
