Dynamite Deluxe began singing at the local club Closet. The guitarist used to fall asleep with a CDplaying as a kid. The bassist was influenced by his father's love of music. Dynamite Deluxe began playing together while they were in high school. The band used to sell their CDs out of their car at the local record store.
