Earth, Wind & Fire’s members grew up together. The group used to practice at a group member’s basement. Earth, Wind & Fire started performing at Anyplace, a college bar. The group wanted to be known around the world since they were in college.

Earth, Wind & Fire plans to take a break after the tour, allowing the band members to recharge. The group is in the middle of the tour accompanying for their most current record. Earth, Wind & Fire's most current release is the group's first project since the band broke up four years ago.
