Earthtone began playing together in 1995. The guitarist was heavily influenced by his family's love for music. The guitarist used to listen to his grandfather's record constantly as a teenager. Earthtone began singing at the college club Bandit. The band kept asking the local radio station to play their tracks.

Earthtone was offered a record contract after their single was heard on X96.5. Now the band is a huge draw wherever they perform.

Earthtone realized that they were truly working musicians after Cynthia Thomalson started the first fan club for the band in 1995. Initially the band only had a few fans from Philadelphia in the club, but after playing all across the country the fan club’s membership exploded to a few thousand.

Earthtone's members hope this tour and the newest project attracts a new group of fans. The group recently finished their newest record, but they are already plotting the next move.
