Echovalve began playing together in 1982. The group used to practice at the guitarist's house. Echovalve began playing at the local club Bliss. The drummerdiscovered his love of music by listening to his grandfather's record collection.

Echovalve continued to work hard, scared they would just be another one hit wonder. The group plays plenty of arenas, but would rather perform in the smaller venues in which they started.

The new project from Echovalve is a refinement of their previous sound. The band may have just completed their most current project, but they are already planning the next release.
