Ed Tickets
Ed began playing together while they were in middle school. The drummer used to annoy his grandmother by playing his favorite CD incessantly. Ed started performing at the college bar Scrutiny. The group used to practice at the guitarist's house.
Ed’s first album was a dud, but the second finally got some exposure. The band group played festivals, parties, bars, really just about anywhere that would take them.
Ed knew that they had a real chance to become a headlining national act when the group’s first fan club was started in 1988 by Helen Verlinden. After starting out with a handful of members in Albany, the club took off exponentially, growing to over two thousand in just a few months.
Members of Ed hope to collaborate with other artists while on this tour. The band is in the first leg of the promotional tour for their newest album. Ed's newest album is the group's first album in three years.
Critics have generally commended Ed for their ability to connect with the crowd at live shows. Tampa music critic Kent Carter has always commented on group’s terrific vocals. Ed’s new album is receiving terrific reviews from all the critics, including Stan Ernhart, who first saw the band play in Los Angeles.
The group has a love affair with Portland so they are sure to stop by and play a show whenever they are touring. TheSeats.com’s extensive website has everything from concert seating charts to tour schedules, making TheSeats.com the single best one-stop shop for Ed tickets.
