Edguy’s members were friends in high school. The group was influenced by the Beatles. Edguy started playing at Humorist, a local club. The guitarist discovered his love of music while listening to his family's record collection.
Edguy will take some time off after the tour, to allow the band members to rest after a long tour. The band just completed their latest project, but they are already planning the next release. Edguy's newest album is a refinement of their traditional sound.
