Fabian was offered a record contract after playing at at City, a local club. Fabian were convinced their hard work had paid off after their first single rose to the top of the charts.
Fabian knew that they were real working musicians when the group’s first fan club was started by Ruth Okerblom in 1990. The fan club received a huge boost after Betty Dickenson designed a website for the band. That coupled with the tour across the nation saw the fan club’s official membership reach numbers in the thousands.
Fabian's newest album is the band's sixth release. The group recently completed their most current record, but they are planning the next release already. Fabian intends to take a break after this next tour, allowing the group members to work on individual projects.
Generally critics will commend Fabian for their ability to connect with the crowd during live shows.
