Facedown Fest started playing at Beach, a local dive bar. The band used to sell their tapes out of their truck in the school parking lot. The members of Facedown Fest were friends in grade school. The guitarist used to fall asleep with a recordplaying as a kid.

Facedown Fest's most current record is the group's first album in five years. The group is in the midst of the tour accompanying for their new project. Facedown Fest will take some time off after the tour, allowing the band members to rest after a long tour.

Even after getting the record deal Facedown Fest were not sure if they would make it in the end. The group plays plenty of arenas, but would rather play in the smaller clubs in which they started.

Facedown Fest knows to play both the old and the new at their shows. The band has a love affair with St. Louis so they are sure to stop by and play a show whenever they are touring.
