Faces On Film Tickets
Faces On Film began playing together in 1998. The lead singer wanted to start a band since he was in grade school. The bassist used to listen to his aunt's CD constantly as a child. Faces On Film began performing at Kudos, a local dive bar. The Beatles heavily influenced the early work of the group.
The new release from Faces On Film is the group's ninth album.
The group recently completed their most current project, but they are thinking of what is to come next.
Often times, critics have commended Faces On Film for their ability to energize the crowd at live shows. Keith Colangelo, a music critic from Springfield, has always been enamored with group’s tremendous bassist. The years of paying their dues paid off when Faces On Film signed a record deal. All the members quit their day jobs to focus on their music. The band plays plenty of arenas, but would rather play in the smaller venues in which they started.
Faces On Film realized that they were real working musicians as soon as the group’s first fan club was started in 1977 by Patricia Ellenwood. The fan club grew from a few dozen to a few thousand after Kimberly Geanopulos created a website for the group and a national tour gave the band plenty of exposure.
Every time the group comes to Portland they are sure to stop at Card and play a show. Faces On Film appreciaites their fans and wants to give them a good show, so they play previous hits along with the most current singles.
