Fake Superiority began playing together while they were in grade school. The bassist was encouraged to play by his grade school teacher. The drummer used to listen to radio constantly as a teenager. Fake Superiority began playing at the local club Fluid. The group used to practice at the drummer's basement.
Fake Superiority's most current project took just three months to record. The group may have just finished their new album, but they are planning the next release already. Fake Superiority's members hope this next tour brings in more fans than ever.
Fake Superiority was discovered while performing at at Beach, a local dive bar. All the members quit their other jobs to focus on their album. Fake Superiority’s first album did not do so well, but the second album was a hit, going gold.
Tampa has always been receptive to the band, even when they were small time, so the band schedules a show there every year, even if they are not touring.
