Family Stone Experience began performing at the college club Hobo. The guitarist used to listen to his mom's cassette tape constantly as a child. The guitarist discovered his love of music while listening to his sibling's record collection. Family Stone Experience began playing together while they were in college. The group used to practice at the bassist's basement.

Family Stone Experience will spend some time apart after the tour, to allow the band members to recharge after a long year. The group is in the first leg of the tour accompanying for their most current project. Family Stone Experience's new project is the band's first album in seven years.
