Fantastic Diamond’s members met in grade school. The bassist used to fall asleep with the radioplaying as a child. Fantastic Diamond began playing at City, a college dive bar. The group begged the local radio station to play their tracks.

Fantastic Diamond's most current album is the group's first since the group members went to work on independent projects six years ago. The band has just finished their latest project, but they are already plotting the next move.
