Frank Vignola’s members met in 1979. The drummer used to listen to radio constantly as a kid. Frank Vignola started performing at Human, a local club. The band harassed the local radio station to play their first single.
Frank Vignola were uneasy after releasing the first single, but were happy when they heard their music on the radio for the first time. The group group played festivals, parties, bars, really just about anywhere that would take them.
Frank Vignola realized that they could really have a career in music when Sarah Ernhart started the first fan club for the band in 1975. The club started out in Orlando with a handful of members, but grew tremendously once their singles started getting national air time.
Frank Vignola's most current record is the group's first since the band members went to work on independent projects ten years ago. The band recently finished their most current album, but they are already plotting the next move. Frank Vignola plans to spend some time apart after the tour, to allow the group members to work on side projects.
Generally, critics have commended Frank Vignola for their ability to connect with the audience at concerts. Hugh Yavorsky, a music critic from Cleveland, has always pointed out band’s great bassist.
