Galatic Tickets
Galatic began playing together in 1999. The drummer discovered his love of music while listening to his family's collection of records. Galatic began performing at the local bar Residence. The band used to sell their CDs out of their truck at local shows.
got K100.9 to start playing their single and had their friends call in to request the song. A record executive heard it one day and immediately signed the band. Galatic were happy to get the record deal, but were not sure how far they would go. The release of their debut recording convinced them that they were right where they should be after their songs began to get lots of radio play.
Galatic intends to spend some time apart after this next tour, allowing the band members to pursue individual projects. The band has just completed their new record, but they are plotting their next move already. Galatic's latest project took two months to record.
Critics have often praised Galatic for their ability to energize the crowd during live shows. Trent Storjohann, a music critic from Albany, has always been a fan of group’s great rhythms. Galatic’s new album has received superb praise from all the critics, including Seth Felson, who first saw the group sing in Jacksonville.
The group loves playing in Denver because they played their first sold out show there.
