After this past non-stop year the members of Hall & Oates will take a break. The group is in the first leg of the tour accompanying for their new album. The latest project from Hall & Oates has taken the group in a very new direction, with a less refined sound.
Generally, critics commend Hall & Oates for their playfulness with the audience at live performances. Isiah Lamango, a music critic from Albany, has always been impressed with band’s accessible lyrics. Hall & Oates’s most current album is receiving tremendous reviews from all the critics, including Vito Menchen from Kansas City and Aaron Teisberg from Cincinnati.
Hall & Oates was offered a record contract after their single was heard on X102.1. The band members were ecstatic that all the local festivals they had played had paid off. The band plays plenty of arenas, but would rather perform in the smaller clubs in which they started.
Hall & Oates accepted they had finally made it in 1980, when Mandy Innocent started the group’s first fan club. The fan club grew quickly from a few dozen members in a few cities to a few thousand across the world.
