Halo Stereo started singing at the local club Beach. The drummer wanted to start a band since he was in high school. The guitarist was encouraged to play by his middle school teacher. Halo Stereo’s members met in 1987. The group requested that the local radio station to play their song.

Halo Stereo's members see this tour as a chance to expose another audience to their music. The band is in the beginning of the accompanying tour for their most current release.

Halo Stereo were still a little worried after they released their debut album, but were relieved when the release began to get some radio play. Halo Stereo was discovered while playing at at Manacle, a local dive bar.
