The members of Hard Rock Calling met in 1995. The guitarist wanted to start a group since he was in college. Hard Rock Calling started singing at Beach, a local bar. The group used to practice at the guitarist's house.

Hard Rock Calling's most current record is the band's seventh project. The band just completed their latest release, but they are planning the next release already. After this last hectic year the members of Hard Rock Calling will take a break to recharge.

Critics have often praised Hard Rock Calling for their playfulness with the crowd during live performances. Don Wolbert, a music critic from Miami, has always been impressed with group’s great front man. Hard Rock Calling’s new release has received superb reviews from all the critics, including Reggie Van Gundy from Orlando and Hugh Slatter from Sacramento.

Hard Rock Calling signed the record deal, but were not expecting the next step to be any easier. submitted their single to Z101.1 and a DJ took a liking to it.

Hard Rock Calling finally realized they made it in 1983, after the band's first fan club was started by Mandy Neilson. Starting out with just a few dozen members in Biloxi, the fan club quickly grew with group’s national tour and the launching of the group’s website by Pam Rastetter.
